Yes Dave, the white sport is John's old one, Giles sport is very very nice, he'll lead you to believe it's shabby the way he goes on sometimes....it's a minter for sure!
Car behind Giles's car sounded like my Dyson :( ..crap.

The car that pulled in behind Richy's touring was more like it, 968 CS in the white with red graphics, there was some very nice machinery there today!

yes i made it mate, didn't see you, got there about 10.30 and was there till about 1.20, not much to after that so me and my dad went out to find a nice pub for somthing to eat, couldn't find anywhere near and decided to just head back and take a big detour back through derby so that we could go to a good pub/b&b where he often stays with work, after two pints and about an hour and a half sitting in the sun we then headed back home to be wieghed down with enough flies to populate derbyshire.

Reckon i got there about 10ish and left about 2ish, was parked up in the big shed next to Giles' car and then we all moved outside later on.

Funny that i ended up driving round Derbyshire this evening on my long winded journey home, think i must have the remaining population of flies

Was a really good day. Relaxed, great weather, and LOADS of good cars. And some bad ones too...

The 'other' nice car behind mine was... rather nice.

Image

but another 'not so nice' car behind mine was... Lovely. Notice the lack of ANYTHING behind the fibreglass lovelyness of the front spoiler... Uhm, ok.

Image

Dips 'gang' as they arrived...

Image

John's previous E30...

Image

...and his new toy... Yum yum. 8)

Image

And one of mine... well, you gotta take one of your own.

Image

...and the rest of us outside once we all moved.

Was an engagement/birthday/valentines present from the wife to be. It's actually got two more numbers on the end (removed for 'security' reasons) and because it's just an everyday Irish plate, it was pretty cheap (though not as cheap as John's special deal!)

Just makes the car look a little more special. I love it. I'm amazed that I haven't been 'asked politely' by the Traffic Cops to return it to it's standard form... It's currently sporting small digits and incorrect spacing...

Geeman i didn't know Dips was coming otherwise i would have come down with him. Saying that, my car is in no condition for a show at the moment with a cracked front bumper and wing. I've got it booked in for 9th May, so i should be ready to rock & roll from June. I wanted a colour change as i've found a really mental paint, but the Insurance company are not having any of it. They think my mate is only insisting on a full respray cause i want to change the colour of the car at their cost, but it's not true. I would be gutted too if i had to pay someone Ԛ£5k + for a cracked bumper and wing, but that's the nature of Candy paint. They have also insisted that they have a representitive there when the car gets done to make sure that it really is completly resprayed again. You'd think they were trying to call me a liar at this rate wouldn't you ?

You'd tend to get a bit paranoid about it!

At least it's getting done, that's the main thing.

Was a good show. Nice and relaxed (have I said that already?) - good day out.

I'm a bit worried about my interior cause it's staying in the car. They are not willing to pay more money to get it taken out and put back in. That Ԛ£5k is purely for the labour of the respray and paint. I guess at the end of the day any damage to my interior will have to be settled between the the insurance and my mate spraying the car. I just want the car to be the way it was before it got damaged when i pick it up.

Does look like a nice show. I will be coming to loads of the BMW shows this summer with my mates in a mental E36 cab and a sexy as fcuk E46 cab so you will get to ride the booty wagon no doubt.

Ben, you might as well take the interior out yourself....I wouldn't risk allowing it to get ruined. It would be one less thing to worry about!

Giles... i saw you walking around the car park taking those pics and was gonna come say 'hi' but i was sitting in my car eating lunch at the time and when i'd finished you'd vanished.

You can just about see my car in the backgroung of one of Simons pics, the one of a grey cab.

Williw i'd like to take the interior out but it's not as straight forward as it sounds. It took us a whole day just to fit the front seats. They are also bolted down as the runners for the E30 are completly different from the E36. Theres also the small matter of the 5 tv's, playstation, verious boxes to control different things. It will take far too long, plus there's no way i'm paying out of my pocket to have it all put back in. At the end of the day, they are the one's that damaged my car so it's up to them to sort out how to fix it with the bodyshop. When i pick her up in 3 weeks time i expect everything to be exactly how it was before i took it for the stupid MOT. Any damage to my interior and they will have to pay for it to get done again. If i had the choice i'd take the Ԛ£5k buy a nice soprt and go on holiday too and just keep my car as it is  , but they are not having any of it
