When i rang up my local BMW dealer this week regarding number plates, somebody on the zone suggested bmw dealers.
I placed an order for an mtec grill badge aswell i went for the plates and the badge this morning and it came to Ԛ£39 for both items thats with my BMW club discount.I have fitted my steering wheel, number plates+ surrounds, leather handbrake sleeve + leather grip everthings looks real smart on the car.I then came to fit the little badge and could i find how to fit it hell no
.The badge has two prongs that i think fold over to hold the badge or i need two clips for the prongs this is only guess work. How do you get your hand down to the grill anyway to bend them over there is no access that i can see it has me stumped
Anybody?

Take the grille off mate,
Two crosshead screws along the bottom and three clips on the top, it just pulls off.
Enjoy!
EDIT: If you have headlight wipers, I think it's just an 8mm nut to remove them. (maybe 10mm) Easy enough though.

I used a bit of trim tape to stick mine to the grille, then bent the prongs behind the grill bars, hasn't budged since I put it on over 2 years ago.

take the grill off and do it right
only need to take the one side off
two phillips screws and three clips
two screws are in the veins of the grill you will see them easy enough
pop the bonnet and you will see 3 easy clips.the grill will fall off then
unless you have hlww then u need to take wiper arms off which is 2 8mm nuts
10 mins tops
