Can they be sprayed matt black the same way as the chrome trim on the roof rails etc?
Has anyone done it? Does it look ok?
Will the paint last?

more than likely fella, i think all the de-chrome threads are plagued by cliffy and his rengade support for the shiney-ness.
The bumpers seem to have oxidised thought and nothing will bring them back, if I could restore them I would but since they look dull and gash, I thought maybe tis time to paint them if its possible

Better off going body coloured - matt black on the bumpers'll just look poverty spec.
