I know tyre questions have been done to death, but....

There is a good offer at CamSkill for Falken ZE512's at the moment.

Does anyone use these?

Are they any good?

Thanks.

Still interested in opinions though!

Haha, I just bought some more of these for the 17" BBS on the M3, the 16"'s had them fitted too, not brill in the wet, but great in the dry.

I had a quote from a local tyre centre for Goodyears 2x 215/40/17 and 2x 245/35/17 for Ԛ£512, I had the Falkens from Camskill for Ԛ£282 delivered!

Camskills are quick, i ordered on a weekend and got them on Tuesday!
50 profiles on the front seem nice, but that might just be me being more familiar with my car!

It took them about 9 days to deliver mine, but that was only down to the rear tyres being not so common size tyre.

Cool. I'm in no rush obviously!

Just wondering!

Simon, sounds like a good price for those tyres.

Your car is looking lovely on those new wheels by the way.

Was sat in the pit lane at Castle Combe on Saturday about to go on when I discovered my front left tyre was deflating... Been recommended GY Eagle F1s anyone know if they're good? Is it a good idea to have 50 profile on the front and 55 on the rear then?

Another here for the Goodyear Eagle F1's, best tyre I have ever used, but it was the price difference mentioned above is the reason I ended up going for the Falkens!

Yeah, Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD's are great.

Brilliant grip, but they wear quickish.

Try pricing 245/35/17's!!

I never paid more than Ԛ£60 for F1's on the sport, but the bigger sizes are a little dearer! Camskill didn't do the F1's in the sizes I needed either.

not heard that much about the ze512's tho from experience the only decent falkens ive heard about are 451's

i had the falken fk451's on my old pulsar and they were ace wet or dry but they did wear quickly.

best tyres ive tried are goodyear eagle f1 gsd's

Dudes...

I used to ZE512's on the motor before, but have since changed and upgraded to the FK451's, much better tyre for def...I got them for Ԛ£240 fitted balanced, the lot. Not bad I thought for a pretty decent tyre.... :thumb:
