On a similiar note how do I tell if my engine is an early or later model. The car was first registered on 06/05/1988 and has the L shaped ICV and no lambda sensor (don't know if that's relevant). Where would I find the crank sensor ?

Sorry for jumping in on your thread psychochild187

No it's not factory fitted  , I'm just a little confused about the engine cause all the 88 onward engines I've seen have the T shaped ICV yet mine has the L shaped and thought this could be an indication that it's an older engine :?
