OK, I was searching for pics of the BMW 350 (M5 engine) conversion to show a mate and I got this link from google..

As you can see the M5 engine conversion is there at the top and looks mighty sexy... i then scrolled down to look for better photos and OMG...I found yet one better. This has to be the best conversion yet.

7 series V12 in an E30, thats right, a whopping great big 5ltr BMW V12... in a tiny E30 shell. If thats not mad I dont know what is - but I love it. its so mad its almost perfect! And nicely rebadged with 'V12'. might as well cos you aint going to fool anyone with the exhaust note that would be making!

Imagine drifting in that car, would be TOO easy to get the tail out - HEHE!

That is soooooooooooooooo sweet, I want one
So I need to find a 750
I suppose the V12 is only the same length as an M20 + a bit
Or a 3.5 because it's only 6 cylinders long.

Also he can't be running the E30 diff?? Would the 750 one just bolt on?

I'd be happy to have a crash in one of them. I know a guy who wants to get rid of his 750 too  It's in too good nick though, to split. Oh well if he keeps it for a couple of more years it may be tatty and cheap right when I want to build one :D

Na I'm still at uni till the end of May. I'll have to get it done in the hols, might try doing it my self. Cos I've done spray painting before just don't know how all this metallic/laquer stuff works. I think I'm going to go for a budget 2.7, do a V12 in 2/3 years time when the insurance company won't just point and laugh. If I'm going to bother going to the hassle of putting in a different engine it might as well be the big one :D

Go for the 6 series interior mate, it'll be a bit of a hassle but you'll be the only person with one, t'll be a unique E30  and fukcin comfortable.

do you know anywhere in yorks that sells leather?? need to do the rear cream headrests asap since you mentioned it i keep noticing how bad it looks without em always had four before or flung some in but cant fling cloth ones in itll look well nafff keep ears open for me mate cheers also some standard mudflaps for mine without the skirt shape in it still got those here for you dont worry.
fakkin bored waiting for courier with bonnet wanna get it on should be finishin kitchen for the misses but cant be arsed been at it 2days sick of seeing screws put that off a day or two and do me motor i think

Dunno about leather in Leeds. Don't bother telling the DVLA just as long as the seat belts are up to MOT standard it really dosen't matter, which car are you going to put them in? Cos you 'd be selling the cream leather would'nt you? Dunno about the 2.5 might have to take it to bits to make the 2.7 but I'm sure we can find you a pukka 2.5 if you want one. Might get a scrapper in the hols for some money, so I can make money and work on my car at the same time. Dunno about the mud flaps don't you have a set on one of those 24 cars out back
I'm doing Marine Biology, it's ok but there is always somthing else I'd rather be doin.
Tis quite addictive, I should be writing an essay now.

Oh just looked at the pic, didn't realise the rear set broke in to 3 peices, have you got door cards, can't you put them in and just have the cantre bit modified so it's the right width? cos I'd imagine the 6 is wider inside than a 3.

no door cards sadly its a long story regarding my old 6 ill tell you one day all ill say is the fakkin bitch???

i think i could prob squeeze the seats and centre console in without too much grief its just making it all look like it belongs might rag backseats out at weekend and have a trial fit to see if its poss getting all excited now wanna see em in lol
not sure what to do engine wise gonna try the tbs and chip route for starters then go from there not really into trying to kill my car at every opportunity like i used to be so want something that can shift when i want it too but is still driveable round town etc also for for when i get the urge to be a tarmac terrorist im thinking of a new project purely for trackdays etc not in the near future but takes time to collect all you need to buid as you know so better build a shed and start huntin parts i think trying to get the misses to buy a decent 325 cabrio as well think shes now sold on that Daz
ps sadly the only mudflaps i have are the ones for yours
pps what you mean 24 cars out back?? your starting to sound like the misses noe
ppps fakkin hell how many pppppps,s hows this sound my car delph grey 1 with dark smoke tints rear light smoke front bbs polished up smoked light all round and the black leather 6 seats in oh and mtec springs for good measure?? what ya think??

Sounds good the car I mean, you cant beat good clean BBS's, I might get mine refurbed at some point, say over christmas, I'll give you a call closer to the time maybe get a discount for doing 2 sets wat ay think?
Get the 6 series seats in! Stop procrastinating  They'll be awesome, pleas tell me the front are the electric ajustable ones? Oh no you said you were going to have to shorten the handle oh well.

Hey all the eleccy sh1t from a 750 along with the engine would make an awesome 3 series, Hmmm as you say I may have to start collecting parts.

I think I'm just going to go the get it sorted externally and leave it SE spec, then spend some time on the engine and arbs cos I'm quite happy with the height, do the MTech springs drop it or are they just stiffer?
If I'm going to change the springs I only want to go -10mm/15mm max.

Stop pissing around in the kitchen, and get the bonnet on and give it a polish, if it's arrived. Was any thing else dented?

PS when are we going to do the northern meet? Hey just had alook 15 peeps for the meet that's pretty good :thumb:

cant remember what else you put?? have i missed owt??
oh yeah ill go look at meet post im up for it anytime few people were saying end of may last week but no good for me as ill be on hols pissed up by the pool lol im up for a weekly or monthly meet the more the merrier see whats happening on post and go from there no bonnet yet well pissed off want it on front looks tatty also got slight damage on wings pushed back a few mm so am gonna change them for minters as soon as i find a pair and need a sweet boot spoiler just not sure what?? want something classy but a bit different from the norm far too many mtecs about dnt wanna be another wannabee if you know what i mean cheers Daz
