It's just round the corner from me and it's my local, most visited dealer.
HOWEVER, it's not Cronks anymore and has not been for about 5 or 6 years now. It's now part of the Vines group. I believe Mr. Cronk retired some years back and sold out to the Vines group.

Was going to try and get someone to blag me a rear window dealer sticker.
Had to change the rear screen in mine a while ago and lost my original dealer sticker on that.
Never mind

Pah, dealer's stickers. Why show loyalty to the b@stards who shaft customers for a living. It's akin to 'doing' an young lady in the number two, then leaving a sticker for all to see you've been there!!! Think she'd like that????

Didn't Cronk have another dealership in Gatwick? Near Park Royal estate I think. They may have some old Reigate stickers...

I think you mean Manor Royal. That was always vines as far as I know. That branch moved to 3 bridges in Crawley.Gwynleym10 wrote:Didn't Cronk have another dealership in Gatwick? Near Park Royal estate I think. They may have some old Reigate stickers...
As for whether the Redhill branch would have any, I doubt it. I asked for a set of Cronk plates a long time back when they were still at the old premesis. They'd thrown everything out. (I know them quite well). Since then they've moved (about a year /18months ago) to a new style multi million pound premisis including a seperate Mini showroom, on the other side of the road so even if they did find any old cronk stuff. I doubt they'd have moved it.

If we can manage to buy a tin of beans without some cowboy discussing my needs and requirements from the beans, then matching my needs with the beans features and going for the close as I no longer need to look for other beans. Then charging me an extra quid or so for a 50p tin of beans.
You want to bow down and advertise the fact you're happy to be bent over by these charatans?

Hi James. I'm in there nearly every week for parts. I know Paul in parts quite well now. He's very helpful even for the smallest of bits. I asked him for a tax disc holder the other day for the e36 and apparently they had "run out" and there was a bit of an investigation going on as to where thousands of tax disc holders were disappearing!!Jamesb318is wrote:I work at what is now Vines of Redhill.

Also know Paul Gilchrist and Owen on the service desk but I don't think I'm very popular in that depatment at the moment.
Are you a technician then?

Yep, i'm a technician there, glad the boys in parts have been helping you out, Pauls a good bloke and has done me a few favours over the years. Enthusiast yes, on the quiet, no way lol!
Another guy in parts has just got a 316 touring, in pretty good nick too.
In that case then, i retract my previous staement about the availability of tax disc holders etc! Keep badgering parts for one, im sure some will become 'available'.
What happened to your e36 then?
