Boys i need to know first of all if mtech II kit will fit 87 model coupe?
Would Mtech I or II suit 87 model better?
Would e36 m3 wheels suit the e30? Im having trouble selecting wheels. I dont want alpina as there are too many around lol.(the original m3 wheels 92-93)

Tech 1 kit for yours fella. Why ruin a pretty car with a 'bodged' Tech 2 set-up? More hassle than it's worth in my opinion. In your colour and with the existing chrome, the Tech 1 will look really nice.

As for wheels, I'd personally go for some original 15" BBS's or some 16" BBS split rim copies... with a slightly lower stance of course!

e36 m3 wheels wont fit as they are 5 stud and e30s are 4 stud, however there are some 4 stud replicas around

Nve30 please , please do not council up your nice straight original car, i realize as an aussie you will have an inbuilt urge to wog it up but chrome turds are a rare sight now, it would be a shame to molest a nice survivor like that.
Remember, less is more, a set of o.e 15" BBS, 1 coil cut off the front springs, an mtech front bumper/spoiler and an mtech 1 boot spoiler would make it look a million dollars. :)

I'd leave it well alone. It's a superb straight original car, why ruin it? Just a set of decent lowering springs (30mm) and some 15 inch BBS wheels and leave it at that.
The world is full of horrid molested E30's already, don't need another one. :D

im glad you guys liked it. i want to not touch this car at all really. it just needs some wheels. by the way not that m3 wheel. the one on the far right. http://www.bmwmregistry.com/faq/E36_M3_Wheels.jpg
ı do love the color as well. the owner went away for 2 years and left it in his garage for that time. When i saw him take it out as he lives on my street, bought it straight away. It was on 200.000kms. The last owners son blew a piston and the owner decided to change the whole engine for a close to brand new engine with 3 year warranty. 8O So at the moment the car is flawless. i just w$anted it to look a bit more sporty so it could take a bit more attention without ruinning it. Would it be easy to make this car electric windowed ? And if some one could do a photoshop with one of those wheels i would be happy. any more ideas as wheels?

Just found a picture of an e30 with 17 inch m3 wheels. Would this mtech1 front and these wheels go good on mine or would it spoil it?

lol true. i thought of the same thing but jst wanted to get a second opinion. is it possible to fit the bottom front spoiler of the mtech1 bumper on mine without ruining off the chrome? By the way i want to get the mtech1 bumper very soon. I can buy it over the net as well but i just want the best prices around. Im not sure if bmw still sells them but im sure it will be expensive. Any ideas where i can purchase them from???

Mtech 1 front spoiler attaches to the front bumper by removing the rubber strips, fitting the spoiler then refitting the rubber strips. They are very cheap here as they are the only bit of a 'chrome turd' that doesn't rust ! :)
Originals are upvc and very resilient to kerbs/animals/children, copies if available will invariably be nasty fibreglass so best avoided.
Alas , availability in aus is probably slim to non existant and dealer prices will be strong ! :(
