You got them cheap mate, tell me whats the quality like compared to the original lights, is the plastic robust, breakable?? what comes in the box, wirings cabling and also are the angle lights itself easy to wire up??

Cheers

the bits you get in the box are...

both sets of lights.
A wire loom (harnass)
manual aim adjusters
a relay
very vague instructions

Quality is pretty good except the outer ring chrome trim goes rusty in only 1 year.

Plastic mount is pretty good.

Very easy to wire up.

They light the road better than OEM imo
HID isn't legal anyway and is a possible MOT failure.

With HID you pay your money, you take your chances.

There is a video floating about (on youtube iirc) which shows how aftermarket HID kits "may" cause problems with the beam pattern. If the beam is not crisp and defined, the lights will fail an MOT test.

those angles are gayer than elton john.

more expensive too.

HIDs wont fail MOT.

www.chromeline-design.com does some excellent HID kits and if ever anything goes wrong he will sort you out VERY quickly.

My HID won't get the chance to fail MOT because all you have to do is swap the bulbs and you're back on standard halogen H1s :)

My E36 had Hella Angel eyes... It came with them when I took ownership of it.

Thought they were horrid at first... then they grew on me... they weren't cheap crap though... so I guess you get what you pay for.

You're right, they are the wrong way up to 'other' angel eyes... but who's to say which way up is right? They are slightly small, but they are bright and look good.

bmw say which way is the right way up.

The gap is at the top on all of the factory angle eyes.

But the angel eyes that were in the first post have a complete circular halo... so are they wrong too?

yes.

Or, modifying something to your own individual taste is up to you, copying something from another car is wrong.

And as has been mentioned, angle eyes have been tarred with the brush of ten thousand barry'd corsas and saxo's, much like lexarse lights.

I didnt say modifying to be individual. Its nigh on impossible to make a car individual, someone somehwre will have done it already.

I said modifying to your individual taste.

Get it right blatant.

This topic has been done over and over....the conclusion on almost all is angel eyes are not for the e30..but it's your money at the end of the day, and your car....!!!

If you don't mind stopping at the lights and seeing a shit-bag corsa with angels, then go for it!

Personally I'd spend that money on HID's....proper one's and seen as the e30 smileys have a projector lense they will be legal, and even if they're not, a quick change for mot will take all of 2 mins!!!!

HID makes the car look more expensive, and prestigious like the expensive mercs and BM's...but also help visibility!!!

Angels are more often then not used instead of the lights as people want everyone to notice that they have angel eyes on their car, and drive round with the lights on dipped and therefore can hinder!!!!
