I hate you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Only joking Dave - excellent find there my friend and a mirror imiage of your original sport.
Hope to see her returned to her former glory after you finish Uni.
Baggsy the first 'meet' ride in her.

Cheer chaps.

Neil, the wheels are even pointing the same way!

How funny are the bottom two pics. You can see it needs a good polish! It's not bad, but not as shiney as the old one!

Will bring it to a meet in June I hope.

Look after her mate.
She still looks very nice and I will miss driving her.
Looks like I have found my mk4 Golf gti so for now
I leave gutted in one respect but happy about keeping
her alive considering she was going to the scrappy the day before.
I will be back with another E30 just don't tell the wife.

I will mate, don't worry. When I finish Uni she'll be having a proper clean up and I've already sorted a new engine.....Will be having the body sorted and the few other bits and bobs, and she'll be a beaut.

Really wish I didn't have uni work to do, or I'd be sorting out all these bits now!!

The pictures are a bit deceiving....

It is pretty much straight and tidy, but there's rust on both rear arches (not holes, or major, but needs doing). A bit of rust on the scuttle on the passenger side, a couple of other bits but nothing too bad.

The interior is tidy, bar the base of the drivers seat, but that's in hand already.

It's up in Cambridge, and I'm down in Brighton, that's the main problem at the moment!! :x

Yeah definately an addiction!!

She's going in tomorrow for the head to be checked, if it's something simple (yeah right!) then it'll be fixed. If not, I'm gonna get this secondhand head put on which my specialists has. Should be done in time for Ace Cafe!! (Hopefully!)

Now my dissertation is handed in, I'll be giving it a polish tomorrow!

You guys talking about my one?

The reason I was considering breaking it was due to the amount I could have made from selling the parts. Which would have meant making cash rather than spending out to fix it, where making any money on the car is tough!

A definate NO

I'm chucking all this money at it in stages though, and I should get a decent sum at the end. May as well have put it in the bank! But I'm saving a Sport so nevermind.

As long as you're not actually losing money on it saving a Sport's a good reason to be carrying on :thumb:

I don't think I'll lose money, but it will be close after the body is done also.

Replacing most of the bits under the bonnet has killed me, plus using genuine BMW bits. Could have done it cheaper, but I have done it properly in my opinion.

Well it does sound like you're doing it properly :thumb:

Real BM bits should improve the selling price anyway....

Good luck with it :)
