I'm in the middle of restoration of an E30 325i '87. I want to make it identical to an old Mtech1 model.

But my question is, what kind of color should I have. (This does not have to be an original BMW color but I want a "clean" color)

There will be a cool contrast with my Startec tail lights and smoked front lights. But witch color will give the best/nicest contrast?

I'm leaning into dark grey (that don't give the biggest contrasts but yet, cool)

I'm grateful for suggestions! :)

PS: I'm Norwegian, sorry for my English :)

Do they work with my tail lights? They are smoked, but have at bit of pinkish/red in them

How often do we see this on here! Someone from a non English speaking country writes a post with perfect grammar and punctuation, then apologises for his English.
Wish the younger element of the natives were half as good at it!

Yeah and then someone always comes along and mocks them.... tut tut.

ok fine I'll be constructive. Lachs looks good with smoked lights.

Black looks better, jet gloss black.

Or matt black winkeye

The car is original Alpine white... But I'm thinking, maybe it will get a bit boring after some months?

keep it white, white can look very boring on a standard car, but then once its got all the kit on it starts to come alive!
