How do I fit a power hood motor for a E30 convertible.....??

:-x Can anyone let me know HOW I can fit a power hood motor to an E30 convertible 325i...?. If anyone has a haynes manual in pdf or some sort of diagram that would be great !!

Are you replacing your motor or wanting to fit a power hood to your manaul one?

If its the latter then its going to be a retro fitting nightmare as these hoods are as temperemental as my mrs on PMT! :lol:

Just stay with the manual hood.

If its the former, then the motor can be easily removed and replaced.

lol, Cheer's for that mate. Mine is just a case of replacing the existing one but I'm going to need some sort of diagram or instructions...

Could I use a later E36 motor to do the job ??

Haynes manual is rubbish

if you already have a lecy one fitted, just remember what you do when you dismantle it?

man that realoem site is f..kin amazing, its exactly the same diagrams the bmw main dealers use.
