What do people think about new wheels.

Had a chat with Retro_wheels.

My dad did say he wanted Lms but don't come in the right sizes in 17s.

lm's. less fussy. The rs just look like standard wheels with a dish.

Rs's

As they are an older design i think they suit the shape of the E30 down to the ground.

I love LM's i recently did these:

But i think in this case Rs's are more suited, Lm's are more E39 than E30 IMO

I agree with Retro wheels. The E30 has classic lines so needs a classic looking wheel imo. LMs are still gorgeous wheels but somehow a bit modern lookin for the E30.

As much as I'm not a fan of them and disagree with the whole 'only old wheels work on the 'old' e30' argument, they can look very tasty when done well.

RM's are a 2 peice split available in 4x100 6.5x15 as standard with varying offsets apart from the edition white which came with a 7inch basket making them 7.5x15. where as the RS is a 3 peice wheel with a different center cap and a looser weave to the RM also the Rs is available in alot of different sizes and PCD's

17in RS are the nuts. theyre what my car would be on if i could have found / afforded someat the time!

remember they are a period perfect wheel for the e30, especially the m3, all of which came on bbs cross spokes as standard, and some were specced with bbs rs wheels from new.
cheers,

harry

LMs for a motorsport look, RSs for a authentic euro look.

LM's rock and are so much more rare

bit like the type 5's are getting old now, even though they look good, they aren't as fresh as they were
