On the plus side I went straight to where my new e30 318iS is getting fixed up and now made it my daily driver - even if it still is in primer

......was the noise that came from my e36 318iS diff / driveshaft this morning after pulling out of a junction with a bit too much gusto this morning. Now it won't move at all!

shouldn't really drive a primed car, will affect the final finish.
Oh well, needs must I guess! Sorry to hear about the dif issue, not worth a scrappy visit?

I guess you.re right about the primer, but fortunately it's only a few repairs, not the whole car or anything.
The most annoying thing was I was on my way to pick up paint and a compressor to get the colour done by a mate of mine.
Gonna make a trip to the scrappy this week if I can establish if it's the diff or drive-shaft that's buggered. Just a shame as I didn't want to bring the e30 out for 'til it was sweet.
