E34 - 520i - Problem!

hi all have been a membe rofr a while but not really posted much...

the other day i picked up a cheap MOT & Taxed E34 520I (Ã‚£75

)

problem is it needs new discs and pads and the handbrake sorting for its next MOT (i.e. very soon).... no problem i hear you say... it is then the Locking wheel nut key has gone walkies! They are OE BMW Wheel locks and i have searched high and low and it is not in teh car. THe previous owner has now returned to New Zealand (his country of origin! lol)so i have no chance of getting itout of him even if he does have it! lol

Any sugestions? Can they be removed with teh Locking wheel nut removal tools or can BMW supply replacement key somehow?

HELP! lol

If they were there from day 1, the dealer may havea record of it.

Hammer+ chiseil and a lot of tapping round- job's a goodun

Another alternative is to get a an old cheap socket which is a little bit smaller than the lockers head and hammer it on then tap the bolt out when you've got the bolt out and repeat another 3 times. Its worked for me a couple of times in the scrap yards.

Makes you wonder what the point of buying locking wheel nuts is when anyone (thieving scum) can buy a kit from screwfix to get them off.

knocking a socket on wont always work.last resort is to saw off a normal wheel bolt at the end of the threads and mig weld it to the lock bolt.works every time but a bit brutal.
