Cooling side of things is now sorted .
Used an e34 535 rad but the e28 one would have been better as the top hose is pretty much trying to occupy the same space as the oil filter housing ( this will be changed in the future)
Aircon fan from my 740 breaker is fitted and wired up awaiting my thermostic fan switch which i will have in a couple of days .
Not driven it yet but seems to be cooling fine
Lack of space for the brake servo is definately the biggest headache on this conversion .
Rather than going down the route that a few peeps have done and mount the servo behind the nearside headlight
i am mounting the servo inside the car where the glove box is .
i will lose the funcionality of the glove box but it'll look like its ok .
i never use them anyway so not a problem .
So far i have moved the original hole in the bulkhead across by about 60mm .
i am using a mk2 1.3 golf servo with the original e30 master cylinder .
A bit of bashing the bulkhead with a hammer and it sits in place fine.
Master cylinder passes along the side of the engine bank with ok clearance .
Just need to alter the mounts on the mechanisim and alter the pullrod slightly neither of which look like being much of a problem .
Once this is done only a few little bit and bobs to sort out and its MOT time.
Then i will upgrade the brakes and suspension .
