One got caught in the ice the other day thought nothing of it...


and today i was driving to france and my drivers side wiper stopped working and couldnt see!!!

whats broken and how do i fix it... also how much?

Is the passenger side still working?

If so, flip up the cap on the end of the arm to see if the shaft is turning, or look through the black grille to see if the linkage is rotating.

could also be the nut holding the arm on has come loose, prise open the cap on the wiper arm where it meets the bod work and check how tight the nut is!

yup was that fixed it in the matter of minutes......

wish ihad a spanner in the car i could of fixed it on my way to france!!! :(

your hopefull brian, the toolkits from all of my e30s were missing when i got them....


and its kept in the side panel of the touring!!! woohoo i corrected brian on something

I do know where the toolkit lives on touring! I do have one or two. Seven at the last count, I think.
How am I supposed to know you had the touring in France?

Not true! Load area in a saloon is a fair bit bigger than that in a touring, and the volume, up to the level of the load cover is greater as well. Get more in if you lay the rear seats flat, I suppose.
On the subject of beer, the cheapest place I've found for the stuff I buy, is a supermarket a few miles along the road from Adinkerke towards Calais.
