Hi folks,

I need a new front and rear wheel hub for a 325i and tried GSF who have said they no longer stock these?!

I am sure I have seen posts on here before that confirm they do stock these and would appreciate if anyone who has had these from GSF could let me know the order/part no if posible please.

Thanks,

For fronts, the hubs come complete with bearings - B40020
Don't list rear hubs, but bearing kit is B51105/15.

Thanks Brian - I tried a different branch of GSF and managed to get the fronts but they dont do rears. Local BMW dealer has ordered some in @ Ԛ£46 which I didnt think was bad from BMW" main dealer?

Cheers,
Simon.

I wouldn't pay Ԛ£46 for a bearing either, think its the hubs he's been quoted for, at least I hope it is!

Righty,i've just changed my front one and the price is right.
I got mine from a local motor factor for Ԛ£46 inc vat,it comes as a hub and wheelbearing in place. This price is for one,not a pair.
You can buy the bearing seperatly, but then you need to add the cost of getting the old one pressed out and the new one pressed in,and the time involved in doing so.
For Ԛ£46 you might just aswell change it as one new lump, and the job can be done in about 20 minutes, its easy peasy!

The rear on the other hand,i believe you buy as single bearing for about Ԛ£30,changing this is a bit more involved and i'll leave someone else to explain,as I haven't personally done one.

It is just the hubs I was after - BMW did the rear for Ԛ£46 and GSF the front, inc wheel bearing, for Ԛ£30 ish.

Simon,I'm curious, why do you need just hubs?
They are afterall, just solid lumps of cast iron.
Other than the bearing to be knackered the hub can't really go wrong.
