it is not paint its powder coat...it worked on mine

Just done the exact same lovely job.Only one thing removed it and that was good old T-Cut. Happy rubbing.

Rocker cover / manifold maybe - not ideal on the engine bay though!

Auto glym tar and glue remover, try it not so abrasive as adrill and paper..
What ?! Drive straight officer......It's an E30 !
