It's Malachite Green. It's not a shitty colour - I have two of them. Boston green is an E36 colour and is lighter and more metallic. Late tourings came in a colour similar to Boston Green (one in my sig), but it's called something else (Lagoon green?). Now go to bed!

You're right Brian.

Malachite Green is a nice shade 8)

My touring is Lagunengruen, i.e, Lagoon Green in English.

I almost bought a Boston Green 318i touring a couple of years ago, on a K plate. So BMW did use it on E30s, although it's only on a handful of cars I suspect.

Malachite looks lovely when it's clean and the sun's on it. Spadge, I'll bet the YB would be favourite. You must know just about everything about that engine with your background.

When are you going to post some more pics of the beastie?

You are very paraniod. And very arrogant.

Why dont you "take things in jest" as you tend to quote.....
I thought i made myself clear re you did i not????

I jest with people i find 'humerous'
As for arrogance if you think so then fine but your oppinion means nothing to me as i'm not a jonb worshipper

Simon did you call these people in to defend you or do they just come running like big brothers

Pete

You i DO find amusing if a tad borderline racist at times even about your own lol :D Colin is doing a good job of hiding from me at present so no need for me to bump him off

Now before another simple thread turns into a 10 page handbag session am i right in reaching the conclusion that 'Malachite Green' is the answer to my question :P

Hiding as I dont have a car to drive!

I like the green. I'd keep it.. though I do like Delphin Grey. but tourings dont come in that colour.

I doubt it - Boston green didn't arrive until late 1994 (replacing Lagoon) and well after the final Touring was built. Lagoon green is similar but a lighter and more bluey shade.

Well, that is what I thought too, until I saw this particular touring. I had to pinch myself twice to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

I would have bought that car, had it not been for the owner being a complete twat.

As your time playing around with BMWs will have made you realize, towards the end of the E30 'era', BMW did whatever they could to shift them on and make way for the *cough* fantastic E36 :bs:

Spadge, both passenger doors are pretty good if you want them.

If you keep it long enough that is 8)
