Looks nice a nice car - if it survives the vultures circling over that sports leather!

How many do you want sir?
I'll take all the good ones please but really need the 2 passenger ones to save bothering with painters.
No sweat mate. I'll have a look over them tomorrow and see if their ok. Will give you a phone ok? You may as well have the whole car when I've finished using it as a map for my giant jigsaw puzzleSPADGE wrote:Bloody hell i forgot you would have themold_skool_2002 wrote:**cough** doors?base for my new project hence wanting to know the correct colour so i can buy a couple of doors![]()

You know more than i do then Simon and its sat in front of meSimon13 wrote:the leather has been re trimmed thats why it looks good. Seems like a semi lemon to me. Spadge is it a little better in the flesh?
The front seats are as mint as they come but don't look re-trimmed to me.
The problem is the rear seat which isn't 'exactly' meant for a tourer
Couldn't give a monkeys though to be honest as it drives spot-on for 400 quid
That's a proper bargain. What have you got planned for it. Or is it on a "need to know basis"SPADGE wrote:You know more than i do then Simon and its sat in front of meSimon13 wrote:the leather has been re trimmed thats why it looks good. i only said it's a retrim mate as there is no piping and factory trim always has black piping which always splits etc
but for £400 if it drives ok and doesn't over heat or have any rot on it then it's a good price!
you have an interior for it anyway, so sell this one on i'd say from reading between the lines

Looking at your old fords you could make something special.
Only yesterday i got a train to Blackpool and drove home 200 miles in a 2 door 325 that was to be my next project
Thats an ok car but to be honest it made me feel like the 'oldest swinger in town'
We'll see how things turn out

The front seats are nice regardless of who put their hide on them so i really don't care
No over-heating no rust issues and proper mileage with history so i'm happy
My favourite part about this car is the exhaust note at full chat which sounds akin to a 355 when it goes over around 4k
