alright then,
i'm in the process of swapping engines round on my 318is at the moment. problem being i aint got a throttle cable on the new engine. So obviously i wanted to just put existing one on new engine. but so far cant figure out how to completely remove it from the throttle body.
Both engines are out the car just need to swap the cables.
I was going to swap round the complete throttle body but one of the bottom bolts just looks stupidly awkward to get off.
so am i missing a trick here to completely remove the cable (without cutting it of course!)
cheers

Release the plastic clip at the end of the cable on the throttle body lever, them remove it from the end of the cable.

You can them manoeuvre the end of the cable (just) through the rubber grommet to release it completely.
