BOOTY WAGON AT MY MAX P SHOOT !!
Moderator: martauto
I'm so glad you posted pics on here. I'm too embarrased to buy Max P. Its just like a top shelf mag nowadays. car looks awesome. They certainly know how to take pics of cars though!
Ha, ha. I know what you mean about the top shelve bit M3Imy. There does seem an awful lot of naked ladies in there doesn't it
Sadly PBMW has started to skowlyslide towards that trend as well.
Cheers Dave. Hopefully you get to see the car in the flesh at one of tyhe meets over the coming summer months

bootyman,
That car of yours is absolutely amazing. I've never been a fan of the Genesis kit at all, but I must admit, after having seen yours...my mind has completely changed. It's great to finally see a very well done and tasteful ride. Once you get that bigger motor in there, it'll be just as faaaast as it looks. GREAT JOB!
BTW, where can I get a set of those Zeemax fender flares? The are exactly what i've been looking for, but they aren't on Zeemax's web site. Do you anyone that may have a set they'd want to sell, or maybe a place that carries them?
Thanks!

slyder i'm not too sure where to get the zeemex flares from mate because they stopped making them years ago. It's probably best to try and look around on the net mate. You never know, you might just get lucky.
bren i believe that if you're going to do something, then it's best to give it your best shot ar dont bother at all. I guess i was lucky with my car this time round because i had people working on the car who loved it as much as i did. Take my trimmer for example. Anytime i rang and wanted something trimmed, he would drop everything else he was doing and do the work for me. Example i rang up 2 days before Max Power London and was desperate for a boot install. He got straight onto the job and had it ready for the show. The ICE took about 2 months of working every Saturday to do. It was all done by a friend of mine. Yes i was there, but i was more of a anoying spectator than much of a help
, but he done it all without a fuss.
I also owe a massive thanks to my engine builder because he practicaly put the car back together even though it was not what the car went there for. When it came back from the bodyshop after being sprayed, it was just a shell with a million bits missing and it was a massive, massive job putting everything back together again. Especially with all new bits like the rubbers and seals etc. I remember it took him one whole day just to fit my 2 front windows. Because the rubbers were new, it were very hard to make the glass slide on them and stuff, then there's the seats, cutting away the spare wheel holder etc to ba able to run twin exit exhaust etc. Yep, i owe a lot of people a lot of thanks and gratitude i guess. Saying that i was shafted on my other convertible. I spent about Ԛ£15k and i was completly taken to the cleaners, so i guess it all comes down to finding someone you can trust to build you your dream (THAT'S THE DIFFICULT BIT)

Car looks amazing bootyman. It must turn every head when you drive it round london! The colour is great, i have never seen it before.
I've got to add my appreciation too Mr. Bootvman. Anyone can see a lot of love has gone into making your car and I don't really favour heavily modded motors but your's is something special and I would love to see it, in the flesh!
I really hope you get the damage sorted out to your satisfaction

I'm a member from the US, and I have to say that your E30 is simply stunning! I just picked up the new issue of Performance BMW with your car featured, and it's just incredible. I never liked the Genesis kit, on any E30 I ever saw, but your car just does something to me, changed the way I look at wild styling to say the least. I've always been a fan of clean, simple styling, and while your ride definitely isn't simple, it's unbelievably clean. I just can't say enough about how good she looks. Outstanding fucking work man, truly ouststanding.

Gentlemen, i thank you all for the kind comments. There have been plenty of times when i've questioned the sense in spending over Ԛ£30k on a E30, but when i read the comments of fellow E30 lovers it makes it al;l worth while. I'd love to take the credit for the car, but like i said, i've had a lot of help from a lot of people who loved the car as much as i do. I was more or less the bank manager in the project and even though i was present when 90% of the work was done, i was just a mere spectator so i will pass on you commenets to eeryone involved in the project

Bootyman, your car is smooth as. it looks the tits guy!!
Sam
Cheers guys.
I'm a bit gutted now cause i spoke to the bodyshop yesterday and they said it will look different when it gets resprayed. The reason is because it was sprayed in just a booth before and was left to dry natrually for 3 months before we touched it, but now it will be done in an oven and because it will dry a lot quicker, the colour might come out different. None of us has a clue what it will turn out like, so it's just a case of fingers crossed.

Yep. And the hardtop too.

You should get some rear head-rests dude. It will finish off the car nicely
Hopefully i'll run into you at one of the meets this summer

only new to the site and browsing the forums and WOW! And in max power... about time the did a REAL car unlike my friends Saxo that was in there two months ago (how embarrasing to have a friend with a fully modded white SAXO!). The car looks to be finished off REALLY well, especially the system install - looks awesome. I am going through a 'stock look' phase at the moment but as and when i go back down a modded route thats a car I would aspire to - 100% pimping ride!

Cheers jonmsm. It's going in for a respray in the next few weeks so hopefully it would be even beetr when it comes back out again. If you live down south then you will more than likely see her in the flesh cause i'm intending on doing loads of shows and meets this summer.

I'm not sure mate. It all depends on when my car goes in for the respray and how long it's in for. Are you going?

Yep, i'll be going up with the missis for a nice day out.
Some other people from the zone are going aswell, so i'll probably start another thread about it in the events and meets section.
Would be class to see your car in the flesh, i think its a BMW event aswell.

GOTTA GIVE IT TO YA GUV IT LOOKS RUDE PROPER RUDEBWOUY MOTOR
Not usually my taste, but I'll admit it does look great! One question though - whats the point of having tv screenas in the rear headrests?

318iS became MR2 Turbo became FTO GPX Mivec became Impreza became Rover 620Ti became Honda S2000 (current) became Fiesta 1.25 and 200SX Drift Slag (when the Honda has gone)
its purely a show car. to win shows you need shows wherever possible. you see guys putting screens in the boot, you can say whats the point? but when its at a show the judges judge on individuality

FOR SALE
SONY PSP'S £100
Thanks Nav. I wish i had a Ԛ£1 for everytime i had to explain this. I'd be a very rich man
As Nav kindly said, it's purely for show's and the honyz
When you go to shows, you dont win nothing for the practical things on your car. You win things for the tricked bits and one off things that no one else has got. I've got a camera to hook up through my rear bumper to my head unit. I can then show the people behind me themselves on my screens. The screens are also all wired independently. That means i can show something different on each screen, e.g playstatin on one, dvd on another, sat nav on another and so forth.
One of my boyz has got his car in the bodyshop at the moment. That will have 12 screens, including 2 in gis sun visors and a few in the boot. He's even toying with the idea of having one under his bonnet
