Hi,

I am looking for a donor car for fixing up my e30.
My car is a H Reg C2 2.7 convertible automatic, ive smashed up all the front. Parts wise how much of a diferance is ther if i get a 1) 325i 2) 325 SEi 3) 325i Motersport and A) 2 door Coupe B) 4 door Saloon and C) Touring.

What years/regs should I stick to.

Just wanted to make sure I dont get a car that is to differant.

Also anyone got any Alpina wheels for sale? 2 of mine are bent.
Any recomendations for were to get nice big brakes for it at the same time?

Any help would be welcome, I need to get a car within a few days to give to someone that will be fixing the car for me.

Thanks

are u selling the 2 alpinas, cos im after a spare one.

as for the car, i dunno if uve considered this but a C2 is worth considerably more than a normal e30.

if u buy a donor car it might be worth having sytners doing the transfer of running gear - that way u cud possibly still call the new car a C2

.
the uk agents for alpina.
if they do the transfer (or if they "bless" it) then the new car might still be able to be called a C2 and have good value

thanks for your help, I was just thinking of using parts from the donor car to fix up the C2, damage isnt too bad, il post a list of what need and try to get a couple of pics on 2mro.
I wasnt planning on moving the engine to the new car, so it would stil be b c2 rite?

any idea bou spec shape of car i should get or dusnt it make a differance?

if it was a 320 or 318 would it make any differance? so far i havnt looked at them becasue i thought they would be 2 differant.

it is a proper garage that had a look at it, and the guy says he used to work for BMW, i just have to take his word for it, only think that he is unsure about and wont include in his costing is the auto gear box, hinges hav broke but it hasnt leaked, he rekons 90% chance it is ok. He is willing to do all the work for about Ԛ£1000 - 1300 including a full body respray if i get all the parts.

Thanks for all your help, it is appreciated. When I have the list I will post it on here so that people can give me a better idea of what to do. To be honest I have no clue about cars, I dont know anything and parts are just words for me, i dont know much about what conects to what or what does what so this is going to be a learning experiance thou i havn't got much time.
