No idea, you'd need to find one that matched the hub centre hole. 66mm.

the audi tt discs are your best chance. as far as i know, you have to machine 1mm out of the centre hub of the disc, and then drill 3 other holes.
drilling the holes wont really weaken the discs a great deal, as long as the holes arent extremely close to each other and you've drilled them properly
remember, that the big old wheel you put on there is sitting tight upto the disc anyway

Hey everyone, spent all day researching big breaks, and i have come to the conclusion that z3 suspension arms with 2.8/3.0 disc/caliper setup will be the cheapest Vs power. Am i correct in thinking these z3 arms are a direct replacement?Im pretty sure ther are. Feedback please!Cheers Alex
Im a two car man. Shame my bike gets used more.Damn the MOT!

Depends how much you can get the arms and struts for. Then you need the five stud wheels and tyres to match

Ive got the wheels already, just need to know wether the arms are a direct replacement?I think the e30 struts will bolt straight onto the z3 items. I think i can get the brakes relativily cheaply. What do you guys reckon?Alex

dunno mate,i bought some of these :

I was going to be using the audi tt disks, but then i changed to 5 stud.
Also ,the calipers wont fit behind the bbs splits so im just using standard m3 for now.

The Z3 front setup is E36 stuff. The kingpin bolts to the strut on the Z3/E36, its all one part on the E30 - the Z3/E36 kingpin will not fit the E30 strut.e30Alex wrote:Hey Stuart, as far as im aware the z3 kingpin, the bit the caliper ataches to, will not fit the e30 arms.I may be wrong, please tell me if iam!
You can use the Z3/E36 complete front struts in the E30 (with other parts), but it will mean a swap to 5 stud.

None as it wont fit the E30 strut.
Fitting it with the E36/Z3 strut will give you 5 stud and larger (E36 size) brakes, but you do get the wheel alignment problems although that can be sorted.

The E30 M3 fronts might fit the E36 stuff, but I dont think the 4 stud E30 stuff will. The E30 M3 and E36 use larger front bearings than the 4 stud E30s, Im sure its been discussed in one of the many 5 stud conversion threads and I dont think its that easy - if it was, I would have 5 studded my car by now.stuartgallafant wrote:you wouldnt even have to remain 5 stud.
im pretty sure the front wheel bearings from an e30 would fit the e36 hubs
Anyway, if I was going to the trouble of fitting the E36/Z3 struts and brakes and making do with the slightly out front wheel alignment, Id sure want to change to 5 stud to make it worth while.

I gave up looking for them as the only ones i'd spotted looked too deep, i could still do with a picture of the back of those calipers to be sure if anyone can help.
Has to be the one with 57/25 ate stamped on it.
Cheers anyway Stuart

Using the Z3/E36 stuff moves the wheel backwards in the arch, so the wheel is off centre and there is also an effect on the camber IIRC. It can all be sorted by using the lower arms from an E36 M3 Evo (97+) and some other offset bits and bobs, but it will still be a little out.stuartgallafant wrote:how does it put the front wheels out of alignment?
If you read up on R3vlimited.com some say the E36 stuff effects handling, but TBH, Im not sure if it does - maybe noticeable on an out and out track/race car, but not so much in the real world. It certainly wouldnt stop me using the E36 parts to convert my car.

I'm hoping to use the E34 25mm master, the rod that sits in the servo looks longer than the E30 one but still has the same amount of travel. the only problem is it may catch the diaphragm when fully pushed in, but hopefully that won't happen once its got the fluid in it.
I'll have to have a better look at it later, i should have a pic somewhere.
