I bought mine from Dubmeister- Ԛ£40 + Ԛ£5 P & P.
You can get the surrounds for them from them as well as German plates are shallower than normal ones.

Mine are proper pressed plates from Germany (although mine took ages to arrive but I think that's because I just missed a delivery date when I ordered them) and have a yellow rear.

I think strictly not- but mine are reflective so the only thing I can see being an issue is the non-UK font but it's not exactly crazy like some plates you see.
The only other point would be having a 'D' rather than a 'GB' as it suggests you are German but that's only a sticker and could be easily replaced if you did get any grief.

I ordered mine from Dubmeister, very good service. Have had a few comments by the police for them, but after holding a conversation with them they turn a blind eye to them and send me on my way. Especially when one policeman thought the D meant "Denmark"

You just need to specify exactly what you want when ordering. I got white rears for my old import sport but got pulled for itDominitry wrote:I do like these German plates, and that motorsport surround! question though, upon ordering from germanplates.com will they send 2 white ones or a white and yellow?

Hello! Thanks for the info - funnily enough I had used www.specialplates.com only recently for exactly these German typeface plates. Had no probs - and the thing is, they are EXACTLY as UK plates but just with the German typeface (so are reflective plates, less for the old bill to complain about...
Also ordered plate frames for all my cars, had my company website put on all of them.
Anyway, thought I'd chuck in my two pennies worth.
Happy motoring! Pete

Thanks for the 'heads up' at the beginning of this thread (www.specialplates.com)! We've been supplying acrylic German style plates for a while now, they seem extremely popular!! I think it's because they're on UK reflective material, not pressed.Demlotcrew wrote:I sure do, I cant give out any more info on this right now.

Each to their own!
We're able to provide personalised plate frames too - as one of the largest suppliers I'm sure we can sort out a good price for you, quantity dependent.
