Another Central locking question!!!

After going doing the red / black wire route, and swapping a solenoid from the boot to the drivers door, I thought I'd got the issue sussed!

But no!

I've just been to get my central locking wired to the alarm, and the chap in the shop has advised me it's still not working correctly...

As it stands now, using the key, I can open the drivers door & boot (passenger door is currently solenoid-less... one waiting to go in!). All works fine.

But, using the alarm remote, only the boot unlocks.

I have swapped the boot solenoid, and the drivers door solenoid over, as the original drivers door solenoid would not send a signal to the boot to lock... Are these two solenoids different electrically???

I'm planning to swap them back this evening, and see where that leaves me, but, if anyone's run into these kind of problems before, it would be nice to save me some hassle if possible! Just so I don't end up swapping them all around a dozen times!

Many Thanks,

Paul

Right, managed to swap them over in my lunchbreak, and now the drivers door will lock from the remote, but won't send a signal to any other locks!
