I have been hunting high and low for one for a few weeks now,i have been offered one today at a good price.
He is selling it as an M5 e34 mtec 2,but when i rang him this morning he said that the centre horn bit was plastic.
Now a few weeks ago somebody was selling one one the zone and one of his selling points was that the m5 e34 wheel was all leather including the center bit.The e30 mtec2 wheel is supposed to be plastic and a little smaller then the M5 wheel.
Have bought an E30 OR E34 wheel the guy thats selling has checked that it fitted on his e30 as i did not want a e36 type wheel.
Can anybody shed some light on the matter,i know its not a big deal but i would be happier if it was an e30 wheel.
:)

the e34 wheel is the same and does fit. it is only slightly larger but you cant really tell. Simon13 has one fitted. not sure if centre is plastic or leather on the e34 tho, but does fit

It does indeed fit, but is a larger diameter, same as the TechI I think.

The smaller one is much nicer.

They have leather centres on the M5 I think.....

Yeah, I'm talking which five series had the leather centre....

On the e30, it was the motorsport cabby, and some M3's wasn't it?

Hey si i do know that the e34 wheel will fit the e30,but you guys confused the issue with the leather centre bit when some guy was selling an m5 wheel on the zone.As for my wheel that i sold you i cant recall it being leather in the centre.Anyway i am going stright to paypal to pay for 1 right now who cares if it e34 or e30 leather centre or not AS LONG AS I GET ONE BEFORE THE WEEKEND SO THAT I CAN GET IT FITTED TO MY BABY M3LOL

I have an MTech II from an E34 with a plastic centre. It's the 390mm size and nice to drive. I drove a Sport with the proper 370mm tho and I could really notice the difference. I really WANT the small one now to the extent that I might close my eyes and pay for a new one!
