ICE install on 325i

just installed a alpine cda 9833 in my e30 and would now like to install a sub and amp is it possible to install subs under back seats?? or is the arm rest the best way?

what exactly od you mean under the seats?

are you going to keep the seats in with the install as the petrol tank is under the seat so i cant see how subs under there would work.

this picture might help you, ive put a jbl 12 inch sub, facing into the cab from the boot, as you can see, if you pull your arm rest down, behind that is what they call the Ski hatch

just got a jbl 12 inch in a ported encloder and a pioneer mono amp. just punched out the ski hatch

Was looking at mine at the weekend thinking I want to take it out.

Either Dale is double hard or it does kick out. Going to have a go when I get in, if not I'll get dale round and his size 10's to kick it in!

i jst got a hammer and chisel and hammered and the tacks, comes off easily

lol my ski hatch cam out very quickly . got my dads rubber mallet out and hit hard 3 times and it poped rite out. sub is now in pointing out towards the ski hole and sounds great
