Ok so the central locking isn't working, my bro said same happened to his and he changed the central locking ecu/relay/sensor thingy behind the speaker. So me thinks going past BMW will find out howmuch one is to try and trace the problem.

is you car a two door?

got a few of these control boxes lying about

all of them have been checked before they came out the cars, and all relays and soldiered jounts seem to be in good order!

PM the part number and i'll see what ones I have...

i need to but e28 m5 thrmostat housing Ԛ£180 and an e28 m5 rad too Ԛ£230
for my project car!!

i dont get it... especially the thermo housing price!

It's fcukig outrageous Karan, some parts you think are simpl/go wrong a lot are really expensive, mony grabbin bar stewards.
Other bits are dead cheap, like I got a complete SE skirt fixing kit for less than a fiva!!!!

To be fair though the guys are really helpfull looking stuff up even when I don't give them any money. Even printed off my cars factory spec sheet.

Have you tried Euro or C3?
euros dont do the stuff...... will try c3 tmro.. u reckon they will have the thermo housing... i doubt it...

Are the control units for two doors, four doors, and five doors different? This may explain why my rear doors won't unlock.
