Oil leak!!

I own a 318is and there seems to be an oil leak from the engine. There is oil all over the bootom of the engine, on the mounts etc and the leak apears to be coming from the passenger side of the engine. Quite worried about this. Have no ideawhat it could be?? Any help/advice would be much appreciated. thanks alot.
