'Minority' comes to mind.

I would never put anything less than Bilstein on my car, they are amazing dampers. Auto adjusting and so nice at high speed. Yes they are harsh over small bumps compaired to Koni, but they really do transform the car. Anyone who has been in my car would testify to the stability of her.

 i love her

Bilsteins are used on the H&R cup kit re valved to their spec, also Hartge and Alpina use them too, so they must be suited to BMW's

PPl in the US reckon the Cup kit is too soft for its ride height and bottoms out quite alot tho from what ive gathered.. They recommend Koni's alot of the time..

Maybe the US/UK specs are different..

I dunno, cause i was originally gonna run the Cup kit but then got put off it when i asked over there..

There was a guy on the ringers list with a 325i sport & cup kit - he reckoned it rubbed at a couple of spots on the 'ring, but ones a massive compression and the other a bit of a jump/land heavy brake spot, so not too surprising

I'm sure H&R know what they're doing - they offer a special suspension setup taylored to the NÃÂarburgring, but it costs over Ԛ£800 :bling:

I'd heard of locals running 'nurburgring setup suspension' so I asked around when I was going to take the 325 to the ring a couple of years back and found out it was H&R that did this

Didnt get round to getting it in the end

See http://www.h-r.com

I know this is getting "OFF TOPIC" but I've got a 318iS with 205/40/17's on and want to get it lowered but all I can find is 40mm drop front and rear.

Thats to far in my opinion. I want a 25mm drop on the back and a 15mm on the front coz my area is FULL of HUGE speed bumps and I do brake very hard so going for a low rider isn't an option.

I want the back lower than the front to compensate for the fact that the rear on my car looks REALLY high compared to the front (i've got a full MTEC2 kit on if that helps explain it)

Does any one know what options I can take ???

Thanks :D

Your is should come with Shortened Mtch shocks, so it may be worth just buying a set of lowering springs (Check around on the net) and put them on, rather than maybe shelling out for a whole kit

As your car has m-tech suspension it is already 15-20 mm lower than standard. All spring drop rates are quoted from standard spring heights, so when you fit 40mm springs to your car it will only lower it by 20-25mm, which is what you want?
