Morning...
Getting there with my car, gave it a full engine service last night and treated it to a full tank of Optimax on my way in to work this morning, so its nearly up to a standard that I want but there is still one major thing to look at...
The steering and handling feel very "vague" for want of a better description, it feels like something is either very worn or even missing (I am sure its not that bad) between me turning the wheel to the wheels actually turning the car... I am taking it to a mechanic friend of mine to put it on his ramp to have a look but I wondered if you guys could offer any advice as to what it could be...?
Car is a 1990 316i Lux - lowered 60mm

The control arm bushes (inside the lollipops) are often shagged out and can cause vagueness from the front.
Not expensive to do.
