Can anyone recommed a foam cleaner that will get all the dirt out of the door card grains.

I have heard of a foam that is sprayed on and absorbes the dirt out of the grain.

Advise please

If you mean out of the plastic, I used Meguairs All Purpose Cleaner on mine, diluted 10 parts water to 1 part APC, sprayed it on using a foam head trigger spray (instead of a normal spray head this does somethng to turn it into foam which sticks to the surface longer allowing it to work). Then worked it in with a cloth and it lifted the dirt right out. Some really grubby spots needed a couple of goes by my door cards are like brand new now.

The best stuff I have ever used on vinyl trim is Traffic Film remover in combination with a nail brush, it`s cheap and with the nail brush it gets right in to the grain, I used this on my 40 year old Triumph vinyl seats and door cards etc and now they look like new, we also used to clean leather seats with it when I was working for a Jaguar restorer, another good one if you can get is Autosmart G101, it`s just a multi-purpose cleaner/degreaser, both dilute with water. You can buy TFR in most motor factors or probably even Halfrauds.

tfr mate traffic film remover is the nuts for all that!!!!!
becare ful how strong you make it tho, and if you get it on the paint work get it off straight away, or it will affect and eat in the lacquer, if its to strong

I used to have an Austin A30 and used swarfega and a nail brush to clean the vinyl seats and door trims, came up great. I picked up that tip from Practical Classics magazine.

If you have a spare/scrap panel, give it a try and see how it goes before using it on your own vinyl

You mean the handcleaner stuff?
