wayneE30 wrote:i did read the thread bud the whole thing before i posted and granted at the start of it there was a comment about twiggy changing his ip by searching google or sonthing along them lines but then on page 2 there is a completly off topic post and nothing said about it
stu said he was refering to other posts and was told to stop id say unfair.
Wayne
Stu wasnt told to stop
quote all of what I said
about going off topic

if you have been mistreated
or had threads locked without reason
this has no bearing on this thread
and it will start taking it off topic
as you well know and pointed out
please PM me with regards to these
past problems as I would like to look into them myself
and I have since discussed the whole situation with Stu
maybe you are unaware of that I am not sure
Stu said himself he was going off topic
and He understood totally what I said to him

just seen this, and i think i can safely say
if twiggy were here now he'd say
"go fcuk yourselves"
of course i´m not biased so i have no oppinion on the matter,
but im fairly sure he´d be calling the team and members involved
"a bunch of cutns"
sadly thats the way it is

i do agree that there seems to be a certain group of individuals on here that seem intent on causing grief with their smart comments but if everyone was given the same warning and most did heed it then unfortunately twiggy can have no one else to blame but himself. hopefully he will be back in future though.

thats your choice not to back down wayne, and you would recieve the same warnings. 1 set of rules for everyone.
same was applied to jonb, andyboy and simon13 and they stopped.
Fuzzy, ban for twiggy is permenant but your concerns about "certain groups of individuals" are currently being discussed.
we do our best here!

give the guy a break man.
the thread was actually started by myself
as a word of warning to all parties involved
and as stated previously all backed down
except Pete
so warnings were issued
and subsequently a ban followed

Apologies for going off topic about the ip addresses. It started out as a comment relevant to this topic but then went a bit off, hence why it stopped.
On topic.. I didnt see the topic thats caused all this, but from whats been said in here, it sounds like he was given every chance to avoid the ban and didnt take them. So fair play to the admin team. Banning someone is always harsh (I used to admin another forum) but sometimes it has to be done.

A permenant ban, is that not a bit harsh? After all you can kill someone in the real world and be out in 15

Could you not see how he is in 6 months, he should have sorted everything that is going on in his life out by then.

ditto,
Stuart if you have a problem PM me, not having sly digs for 4 pages on this thread. I can remember the thread your on about, don't forget i was the only person who came up with the answers you needed, yet i was the w**ker in your eyes. That very nice of you. How is the 2.3 coming along!
This is all going round in circles and needs to rest now as everything has been said
So you all think i'm above the law on here? lol

no, its been seen before though where simon has had rows with members before, sal, demlot, and its pretty much gone the same way. sadly in this case twiggy didnt want to limit comment to snidey digs, and instead went on balls out confrontation.
having not followed the thread that this event is spawed from, i cant have a personal opinion.

I get the feeling a democratic feel is being born!!
Mutany aboard the QE-Zone!!
How about a sin bin for both parties? Then a week ban, then a 2 week then a month etc in put in place. People will get the message
Perhaps limit to PM's and let them fight it out in private!!

Simon I haven't been having a dig at you on this thread. I don't do "sly digs", if I have a problem I'm up front with it - as I was in the thread I think you're referring to.
I will PM you though.

Handbags aren't necessary. It's that sort of thing that causes situations like the Twiggy one.
I've put my point of view to Simon privately and I'm waiting for his reply.
As above, I'm up-front. If Simon isn't happy with my PM, we'll iron-out our differences one way or another.
This is going OT again.
