People do tend to get caught up in the moment and forget themselves. Like being on holiday but leaving your common sense at home! See it all the time with the simplest of things like trying to cross the road!

Pre accident pictures lol. Hope you get it sorted chap.
All the 8ers in attendance were stunning, such a good looking model of BM imo.
I didn't see your prang so can't comment but a blue on blue incident is never gonna be good news.

Top day out and nice weather too but felt there could've been abit less buffing and a bit more driving (Big convoy through the gorge or summit). Some really nice cars out though, shame about the smack, The same thing happened to me at the Greenham meet but fortunately only about a fivers worth of damage. Nice pics nath, I know how bad my bootlid looks now. Will have to get it done soon! Did anyone get a pic of the front end of that 8 after the smack. I didn't see it as I think it happened after I headed for the gorge. It was a shame your car wasn't ready Chris but at least you didn't miss it all together. Swing by mine when you get it back mate, I've gotta see it go when it's done.

You lot all missed the mad dash from the gorge to the Queen Victoria pub. There was some nice roads and a few e36's and one eager e28 got to stretch their legs a bit
Almost piled into the back of a e36 on arrival lol.

will let you know
Mine just needs a rear bumper[plastic stuff] = a bit of panel beating

Did some1 say it WAS his dads? I bet he's grounded and had his pocket money stopped

At least yours is repairable. I now know if I ever have an 8 and crash it to make sure I do in reverse! Hope its as good as new when its done. If its not

Me & the other guys were adding up the cost, & arrived at a figure between £5 & £6000 + vat assuming the car is worth between £10k & £12K its going to be touch & go

Update onthe Blue 840 that went up my arse!
Body shop repairs £8080 +vat

no news yet of their intentions.
The moral here is make sure you dont run into the back of an 8 series, they're built like a Panzer Tank
