Rev Limiter on '85 318i

Looking to adjust the factory setting of my Rev Limiter on my 1985 318i.

I've heard that there are articles on the web on how to raise the redline on this motor. I went to the bimmerdiy.com site, but could not access that article.

Is there anyone out there that has done this and has step-by-step documentation on it?

Would the limiter be eliminated all together, or just raised? I ask this because I also have an MSD box from my old e21. How would this play in the equation, since I used to be able to control the rev limiter in my 320i with a chip?
