how much should i drop her???

hi guys my car has currently got a 40mm drop. . . . and was planning to put my wire rims on with a 80mm drop. . .

but change of plan now. . . .im geting hold of 9x16 borbet A (all round) theyve got a polishd lip and powder coated centre. . .lukin sweet havnt got pics rite now.

i wanted to know how much i can drop the car if im going to put 9Js all round. .? i want it to be low as possible but no scrubbin!!!

60/40 drop is about the lowest i would go, i went 70/30 with my touring and she scrapes speedbumps, i had a 100 lowered 2 door once and although looking the dogs danglies i had to drive real careful with the sump etc so low that it just wasnt fun to drive anymore..........

Like riklusby said, do you actually want to use the car or just turn up at shows or drive down roads with no speed ramps.

I have had scraped my IS lip once over a year with a 60/40 drop. I think any lower and speed ramps would be a problem. im still considering 60/60 for the next touring though
