Is it one made for your car? Or a universal one?
What brand?
Is yours a two or three piece system?
I had problems when I bought a backbox for a three piece system, but mine was two piece!

its a, wait for it *shush* universal
the system is a bit of a barsted jod in the sense it has been bastadised from as i can work out , a 2,0 downpipe to mid box, and then a cheeky weld on with a tatty "standard single 1.6 mini bore
i could just as well do the same as him, firegum the pipe in and weld the pipe using an overlapping flange

It's probably gonna be trial and error on that then mate, and it'll be a bit of a bitch!
Hope you can get it sorted!

Well that looks to be a reasonable shape, maybe with a bit of bending here and there, you may be able to get the original brackets to fit!
But that is single 'input'? Is your system twin pipe into the backbox? If it is, then it will be more grief.
A decent welder should be able to sort this out for you?

no , thats what i mean, he butchered a twin into a single usint the mid box to convert it
it looks legit enough, so its a 320 downpipe to midbox, and then comes out a single pipe to wimpy 316 rear silencer, and to top it off , at has a really
bend to the side, you know that grandad type
anyway, matey at the workshop has all the gear so it shouldnt be a prob to sort, i was just wondering what the best method is

While on the subject of exhausts. I've got a 318iS MTEC2 with the standard exhaust system. So the rear bumber skirt is cut away for twin pipes and it only has a single pipe coming out from the valance.
I want to fit twin pipes and I know I'm gonna have to cut my valance away to get the twin pipes thru. Does anyone know the best way of going about fitting twin pipes to this setup. Where could I get a full sports system from for instance (mines a non cat iS btw) ???
Thanks
