nasty nasty picture hope it wasn't your fault?

A friend broadsided his e30 into a telegraph pole at 35mph.. If he was carrying a passenger they would have been toasted.. There was about 20cm gap between the door and the transmission tunnel - ok it was right on the weakest section and most cars fold easily at that point, but was a bit of a eye-opener to say the least but still doesn't put me off though.

Sorry to see your car in that state!

Yes, and lot more nice/rare parts too.

Glad to hear the MG is still going strong, just needed a bit of TLC, which I wasn't really up to after the above accident!

When walking home form school one day, I witnessed a 'young tearaway' in a boy racer-look old type Mini bombing down a hill somehow lose it (there was no-one else alround, it was a straight road and it was dry?!) and stove it head-on into a lampost - there was an almighty mighty bang and it seemed like time stood still  Yet, a few seconds later, he staggered out a bit dazed, but apparently none the worse for wear! The Mini on the other hand, was trashed.

was over at my mates yard few weeks back he got my 320 shell off me to reshell an acshnitzer so i went over for a look ... will need to get pics and put them up as the only way to describe it was bannad. the previous owner lost control took a post box out the ground and managed to take down 2 lamp posts so dont think he was driving any where near the spped limit amazingly the boy lived to tell the tale as he wasnt wearing his seat belt and beleive it or not was thrown from the car after the first impact and they reckon this is the only reason he survived...
