http://www.mcrallying.net/pages/bmw/bmw ... 0_prod.htm they have export agents throughout europe so may well be able to ship to you.
Fitting to a four door would be a PITA although it has been done (using geniune M3 panels)

Cheers for the link, I think I'd be better off getting genuine m3 panels and welding them on as you say. I was hoping someone had a nice cheap option I could muck around with, but a lass its not to be...charlE30 wrote:http://www.mcrallying.net/pages/bmw/bmw ... 0_prod.htm they have export agents throughout europe so may well be able to ship to you.

Original rear quarters are £400+ each new from BMW then you need the front / rear bumpers / side sills / front wings the list is endless... I've been collecting the parts for a while now to go on my tourer
1 & 2 bed flats in Bournemouth areas, with parking

think so to
cause i've never seen on a 4-door.. could look nice, bu with alot of work
This is the only 4 dr/touring conversion i've seen using genuine parts (if you exclude the front bumper that just doesn't look right). From the write up it was a fairly involved job, but it does look good as a finished conversion.

I know I said m3 replica but what I was meaning was after market (fibreglass) not replica.
Yes the wide arch flared guards m3. I've already got the complete mtech2 kit so I know what that looks like
As listed above the kit was custom.
It was fibreglass so I imagine he molded the front and rear panels and then reproduced in fibreglass and then cut to fit. Would have been a lot of work. That's why I asked... because if they went to so much trouble you'd think they'd then sell more kits using the mould?
Dips346, I know the difference between the m3 and mtech...dips346 wrote:you sure you are talking about the m3 kit wide arch or as i think you are looking for the mtech kitmybmw6 wrote:I saw a fibreglass m3 kit for a four door over here in Australia

i would have thaught gettin a good body shop to make you a custom body kit would be the easiest way to go. althaugh front panels would be a straight swap whatever you do will need to be fitted and sprayed. id save my cash up n get some experts to do it for me. i imagine would be cheaper to get the whole job done in one go also. an added bonus would be gettin the gaurds as wide as you like therefore perfectly matchin whatever wheels you want the options are virtually limitless where with m3 gaurds a couple of inches would be the most you can gain. also you could get custom front and rear bars made and youd have a one of a kind car. custom bonnet/eyelids/etc all done to match whatever youre after all painted and fitted.
i once had a dream that i got m3 arches fabricated and put on my 4door but it looked horrible and out of place it turned into a nightmare quickly.

Zeemax's E36 Wide Body kit can be made to fit an E30 ... or so they tell me. Might be worth a go???
I know what you mean. I've had a complete body kit sitting here for 8 months. Sometimes as you say, its just easier to get a pro to take it away and do everything.WerkdE30 wrote:i would have thaught gettin a good body shop to make you a custom body kit would be the easiest way to go. althaugh front panels would be a straight swap whatever you do will need to be fitted and sprayed. id save my cash up n get some experts to do it for me. i imagine would be cheaper to get the whole job done in one go also. an added bonus would be gettin the gaurds as wide as you like therefore perfectly matchin whatever wheels you want the options are virtually limitless where with m3 gaurds a couple of inches would be the most you can gain. also you could get custom front and rear bars made and youd have a one of a kind car. custom bonnet/eyelids/etc all done to match whatever youre after all painted and fitted.
