What I pondered about seats

I know the driver side and passenge side front seats arent interchangeable, but I was wondering, is it possible to remove the actual seat cushion and cover from a decent passenger seat and swap that onto the ripped drivers seat without too much trouble, or will it be a pain in the ass to do?

Yes, you can do it. Just swap the entire hinge mechanisms and runners over - with comfort seats, that is. Sports are not so easy!

Is there anyway I can do it by just removing the fabric and cushioning do you know?

The passenger seat I'm looking to use is out of a 3 dr (as its sat in a scrappy at the minute) so I was hoping to remove the fabric and cushion which is in better nick and swap it for whats on the drivers side of my e30

You'd remove the hinges and half remove the runners to get the fabric off anyway. You could leave the runners if you wanted and just put up with the slide handle being on the wrong side.
