im thinking about getting an lsd for my 320i cab, just wondering what ratio i should be thinking about, acceleration with the open diff is awful, but so is the top speed, it can just about get to 115mph down a hill with the wind behind me
any help would be much appreciated

A 3.91 LSD (like mine!) would give you decent enough acceleration with the 320's power.

If you want a few less revs on the motorway, a 3.64LSD would be good, but you might suffer with acceleration slightly.

You will need to adjust the length of the propshaft when fitting the LSD because you will be going from a small case to a large case diff. I think yours will have the small case :?

If you can find a 3.73LSD, it would be a good compromise.

You're not mad mate!

But once you've got an LSD, you'll want a 2.5 engine!

ive always wanted a 2.5 but its just the economy, the 2.0 is bad enough and doesnt move, if money was no object i would just stick a 2.7 in it
the bloody thing prob still wouldnt move though
damn cab
ill just stick with the 2.0 for now with the lsd, so what if its slow at least it looks good

It does look good mate!!

To be honest, when I put the 2.5 in I got better fuel economy than the 2.0 when driving the same because it pulls you along with less effort!
