As above guys, it was handed into Essex turbo on Friday and just got home from picking it up.... im gonna have a bite to eat, grab a lead light and go out to play !!!, ive got some pics if anyone can be kind enough to post up here for me.. As you know, the shaft was getting jammed, when i went to pick it up, they guy who refurbed it for me handed me a small chunk of metal and said "there ya go, thats what the problem was" quite worrying really as i cant think where the bugger came from... anyway, all fun n games and money after money after money after money, i hope this is the end of all my troubles now and i can finally enjoy my boosted cabby..

If it's on the tubby, tape off ALL the openings before you start dude!
Also, if it were me, I'd take the plugs out of the engine and isolate the fueling and ignition systems before starting for the first time.
Crank it over until the oil light goes out and make sure you're getting oil to your new turbo!
Once you're sure that's all working, plug everything back in and enjoy

where did the chunk of metal come from?? and where is your actuator, the standard ones are crappy like that. Have you asked for your old one back? and how was your compressor and exhaust blades?
