I am really chuffed - my reverse glow dials are on the way from america, for the total cost of Ԛ£33, and i have just bought some really nice looking steel rings for them from german ebay for Ԛ£16 delivered. Loverly.

Here's what they will look like: (bear in mind this is a photo shop mockup so they should look better than this!

yeah it looks really good doesn't it, i just hope the pic on ebay was wrong and the rev limiter doesn't top out at 5000rpm. If it does I dont know what i will do, it looks so much better than the standard chocolate orange glow that i will be tempted to just ignore the rev counter!!

Hi William,

Love the night time pic, looks nice and modern.

I've got the chrome dial rings on mine, and they look quite smart, whenever I drive an e30 without then it seems odd!

The American spec 325e (eta engine) does only rev up to 4.5krpm, so I hope you haven't ordered those. I didn't think you could get them for the normal engines. I hope I'm wrong!

 i bet this is what's happened, they don't appear on the seller's website so i couldn't even choose a type, there was only one set for sale. O well, we will see, hopefuly they will take them back if its wrong!!

Well found :thumb:

Is it just me or is the MPG guage not the same?

And does it matter about the temp and fuel guages being the wrong way round or can you just swap the wiring over?

well found indeed datourer, they look much more like it :x maybe i will have to order a set of these aswell! As for the temp/fuel guages, on the one's ive bought zayyan, i asked the guy and he says no, they are all separate bits so you can put them where you want them. I think the MPG guages vary slightly on all cars. I've seen some standard dash clocks with guages that look different to mine. Depends on the age of the car i guess. Hopefuly it won't matter though!

They look very fancy at night but :? @ the 55mph Yankie speed limit. I dont think BMWs go with white dials personallly but then again i mostly drive at night :o
