Greetings chaps!
Many thanks to everyone for contacting me, Glenn I'm just waiting to hear from you dude
Just to let everyone know that there's a possibility that the cost will have gone up as it's taken such a long time to sort out any money.
If this is the case, I'll add the costs onto the final postage costs.
Cheers!
Alex

I can't bloody wait to get my hands on them, was out today on the hunt for some "make my life easier" parts and look what I found!

I ordered a few other bits too but need to pop back for them later in the week. I don't mind them being a bit thicker than ideal but that's not bad idea for me as my welding is still in need of many hours of practice.
Mark.

I forgot to ask about a straight length of pipe while I was there, would have yours off you but P&P on that lot will be a few £Â£. The supplier I got that from is just off the motorway I use for work, which is handy.
They're 1 1/4 inch normal gauge with atleast 4mm walls, the blokes in the shop weren't expecting the reply they got when they asked why I wanted them but once they'd got the idea they started coming out with loads of ideas, bends, splits etc. I'm still not 100% sure what else I need but until the flanges get here I'm not really able to get started.
Still gotta explain to the misses why the electricity bill will be a little higher next month

I am looking forward to starting mine as well but my project is 100% stalled at the moment waiting for this!
Alex, if you finally have all the cheques, please can you not at least place the order rather than waiting a week for them to clear? It would at least save a bit of time!

I'd love to be able to move this along a bit quicker, but the problem is that if anything goes wrong with any of the uncleared payments, I stand to foot the bill myself and I can't really afford to take the risk

Surely the whole purchase/sale/group purchase scenario works only on the basis of trust, but despite you having the cheques, you don't trust us enough to place the order? I don't get this? Or have I missed the point?

You're quite right it does work on the basis of trust and I thank you guys for yours in me.
It only takes someone's cheque to bounce though, for whatever reason and I don't suspect that foul play would figure in it, and I'm landed with the bill for stuff I don't need and probably can't shift.
Please try to see it from my point of view
You perhaps wouldn't send someone a set of wheels they'd sent you a £60 cheque for without it first clearing.

Ok, the wheels are in motion! ("at last" I hear you cry!)
Will still have to work out the final postage from me to you, but I can arrange to receive Paypal to help speed things along if that's of help to people.
Cheers for your patience so far guys, nearly there

Pretty much, I knew they existed but it took a few trys to find a stockist local to me. They're knowm as welding elbows and come in a few sizes, stayed with 1 1/4inch as I don't want to use all the limited space up with the new manifold.Turbo-Brown wrote:Are they those steam pipe elbows or something?

Come to think of it I haven't
Will give them a call on Monday! I've got two seperate orders in with them (this one and one I placed a week earlier for another project) and haven't had anything though yet!
