I nearly fitted a Touring rear washer bottle in my boot to tidy the engine bay up a bit, sits in there perfect, in the end I just couldnt be bothered
Yep, i'm using the rear one, no probs wiring it to the stalk switch like the normal one, running the pipe wasn't too bad, even though i've got one way valves on the pipe theres a delay of about a second or two to pump the water through.
Another slight plus point is removing some weight from the front of the car, a full tank has got to be 4-5kgs ?
Along the same lines is one of the reasons for moving the battery to the boot and moving the coil pack from behind the head light to the battery tray.
It's taking the idea a bit far or should i say not really necessesary(sp?) but i could remove the PAS pump/brackets/crank pulley from the front of the engine and replace it with an electric pump/res' unit from a Saxo(?) which could be mounted behind the subframe/under the brake M/C.
In all honesty you'd be hard pushed to feel any difference doing these little things but it's a small step in the right direction ?
......any way i'll stop ramblling on.........
