HELP ABOUT MY SUB

Hey guys dis my first e30 me and my bro brought it, i put my subs in the boot and wired it all up but for some reason,there aint no bass vibratin through da car like my old car which was a 205 does any no how to get more bass???? [/img][/url]

behind the back seat youll find a metal plate tag welded in
ski hatch bmw cal it
this needs to be removed to get the sound into the car
it also helps a lot if your back seat has the armrest

remove metal panel and drop the rest down and youll hear your Basss

hi mate, yes all daz said really, in mine behind the armrest was metal sheet that was part cut when it was made, so swift couple of whacks with a hammer and it was soon out, ported my sub box at the back, alined it in the hole and bass comes through perfect .. i'm gather the subs you have are in boxes that match right in size cos that helps alot with bass.

All of the above...but also dynamat the boot aswell...less vibration will mean the sound has to go somewhere...!!!

Obviously the boots big so concentrate on the arches, and the bootlid.

Once some of the air displacement is going where it's intended, you should notice the differece with the sound-deadinig.

I plan to put 4 15"subs in mine.,.... Oh BOY!!!!

And don't put speakers in the shelf mount in the rear cards..
