Has anyone tried sprying there own wheels, just using halfords paint for example. How did it turn out and have you got any pictures? Particularly interested in black and bbs.

I've painted loads of wheels with Halfords body paint cans, as long as you prep the wheels well and use the right primer and laquer they turn out really well, but the finish never lasts as long as the original paint.

Then in the same colour as my car, pic don't do it justice as they never do, but think it's the nuts now, as greeny said probs won't last long but for £15 not bad i'm well happy

Ive done a few sets for some mates, I found honda silver to look wicked.

I also refurbed my mates BBS with Rover silver 8)
