I've been informed that my car's back box needs replacing and am seeking opinions as to what to replace it with.
I was interested in the custom route but have heard many stories of lost power with the M3 but my friend has recommended a guy who has done some good work for him in the past. Is it possible to get him just to replicate the original in stainless steel or is there a lot more to building a good exhaust?
Excuse my ignorance!

From other owners (m3) experiences of scorpions I wouldn't even have them as a choice. Esinemann, Miltek or Supersprint. I did have supersprint on mine and then got a Miltek and peferred that...it was a full system though.

I was looking at the Supersprint on Motorsportworld as there's 15% off and had heard good things about them.

Supersprint are good. A friend finally got fed up with his Powerflow scrap exhaust system on his CRX which replaced a Scorpion system which I bought for mine.
He put on a Supersprint exhaust and the car was instantly alot more responsive and sounded alot nicer.
The quality of the metal and welding was leagues above powerscrap as well.

After the poor fitting Powerflow did to my car, at Xtreme in Harlow I'll never use them again. Bunch of useless cunts.

powerflow are shit!
They have R&D so more often than not you lose power, and it makes your car sound like its flatulent!
Also, more often than not you end up with stevie wonders brother doing the welds and they also use a shit grade of stainless steel which mysteriously rusts!

in fact ray and stevie were so successful with their exhaust designing skills they were approached and commissioned to create a special creation to show off their skills...........
they decided on dtm wrongness as the theme and heres the showcase of their talents .............
after the total success of their exhaust prowess they turned their hands to rear spoilers and body kits
